Pending Storm Preparation

When there is the potential of a severe storm approaching, London Hydro encourages our customers to be prepared.

With high winds and ice there is always the potential of broken tree limbs , utility poles and downed power lines.
 

Please remember to:

• stay away from any downed powerlines and assume they are energized
• report any tree limbs that have fallen on the powerlines and stay clear until our crews are able to make the necessary repairs
• register at londonhydro.com for outage notifications to received updated information on the estimated time of restoration
• If you are driving and the traffic lights are out – treat the intersection as a 4 way stop.

If you experience a power outage, check your property for damage. If the electrical  stack or connection to your home is damaged, an electrician will need to repair the electrical stack before London Hydro can reconnect the power.
